David Norton, from Nuro, explains a bit more about how Nuro can help below:

Hi, I’m David, the founder of Nuro.

My mission is to restore faith in the belief that financial wellbeing is availble for all. Working alongside professional advisers like AES helps us both achieve just that.

Having spent 20 years in the financial profession, I have seen that it’s your psychology, emotions and behaviours towards money that result in how successful you are with it. Several studies support this experience:

  • Over one third of “super-earners” in the US (earning over $250,000 pa) are not saving anything on a monthly basis.*
  • In the UK, the financial stresses experienced by those earning £100,000 per year, are the same as those earning £10,000.**
  • Regardless of pay bracket, at least 29% of people experience financial stress.***

If success with money is driven by emotions and behaviour, this is great news because these are things you can control. Once you know how, you will have the ability to make better financial decisions and take the right actions consistently.

The compound impact of effective financial coaching includes substantial savings growth, effective debt management (if required), improved spending habits alongside a more enjoyable lifestyle and significant long-term wealth accumulation.

Typical scenarios include:

  • Preparing to invest – removing the hurdles to growing your wealth.
  • Personal financial stress – getting control and moving forward confidently.
  • Resolving financial issues between couples and families – get on the same page and move forward.
  • Improving your wealth building – making more of the opportunities you have.
  • Philanthropy – how to give your money more meaning.

The coaching programme includes sessions dedicated to whichever aspects you need, to improve your financial success. This can include:

  • Understanding and improving your financial psychology
  • A science based habits approach to money
  • Visual modelling – creating scenarios for your ideal future
  • Motivation to improve – the goals you need
